Block Paved Driveway & House Painting | Gillingham
Primeline Roofing & Building Ltd recently completed a full exterior property transformation in Gillingham, combining a brand-new block paved driveway with exterior rendering repairs and professional house painting to dramatically improve both the appearance and value of the property.
The front of the property had become tired and dated, with an ageing driveway, worn pathways, weathered render and faded external walls. Our customer wanted a complete makeover that would modernise the home while creating additional off-road parking and improving kerb appeal.
Full Driveway Excavation & Preparation
The project began with the complete excavation of the existing front garden, concrete paths and driveway. Using a mini excavator, we removed all old materials before excavating to the required depth and installing a new MOT Type 1 sub-base, which was mechanically compacted to provide a strong, long-lasting foundation.
A sharp sand bedding layer was then laid before installing premium charcoal block paving in a traditional herringbone pattern. A contrasting light-coloured border and charcoal soldier course edging were incorporated to create a smart, modern finish that perfectly frames the driveway.
Exterior Rendering & House Painting
Alongside the driveway installation, our team repaired damaged render and prepared the property’s exterior walls ready for decorating. Once all repairs had been completed, premium exterior masonry paint was applied to provide a fresh, durable finish capable of withstanding the British weather.
The contrasting darker colour chosen for the rendered walls and architectural details has completely modernised the property’s appearance while complementing the new driveway perfectly.
