We recently completed a block paved driveway installation in Faversham, transforming an uneven and worn front garden into a smart, durable, and visually striking parking area.
The existing surface had deteriorated over time and lacked proper structure, making it both impractical and visually dated. The client wanted a fresh new driveway that would not only improve usability but also add kerb appeal with a more decorative finish.

Our Approach
To deliver a high-quality result, we carried out the installation in stages:
1. Excavation & Preparation
The existing surface was removed and the area excavated to the correct depth, ensuring all unsuitable materials were cleared.
2. Sub-Base Installation
A new sub-base was installed and compacted thoroughly to provide a solid foundation. This is essential for preventing movement and ensuring the driveway remains stable over time.
3. Drainage Installation
A channel drainage system was installed along the front edge of the driveway to allow for effective water runoff and prevent pooling.
4. Block Paving Installation
We installed a high-quality block paving system using a herringbone pattern for strength and durability.

- Contrasting darker borders to frame the driveway
- Feature design incorporated into the centre for added visual appeal
5. Finishing Touches
- Kiln-dried sand brushed into joints
- Final compaction for a secure surface
- Edges and detailing completed for a clean, sharp finish
