Block Paved Driveway & Brick Wall | Maidstone, Kent
A recent project saw us carry out a driveway makeover along with some front garden renovations in Maidstone, which included building an entirely new brick wall and entrance pillars.
There were many things about the existing driveway and front garden that did not serve the property well, including the lack of a structured look and worn-out surfaces that did not give it the curb appeal it deserved.
The Problem
Some of the key issues that needed addressing before any renovation could be carried out were:

Our Approach
To deliver a high-quality and long-lasting result, we completed the project in stages:
1. Site Clearance & Preparation
We removed the existing surface and cleared the area, preparing the ground for a full new installation.
2. Groundworks & Sub-Base
The area was excavated to the correct depth before installing a solid, compacted sub-base to ensure long-term stability and prevent movement.
3. New Brick Wall Construction
A brand new front boundary wall and entrance pillars were built using quality brickwork to complement the property.

4. Block Paving Installation
We installed a traditional block paved surface using a combination of colours and patterns to create a standout finish:
- Main area laid in a herringbone pattern for strength
- Contrasting light borders and detailing
- Decorative features around steps and entrance areas
5. Finishing Touches
- Edges secured for long-term durability
- Joints filled with kiln-dried sand
- Final clean and tidy for a sharp finish

The finished driveway now provides:
